COLLISION REPAIRS

If there is nothing we are known for more, it is that we can fix anything, no matter how bad an accident may be. When most people hear the words “Frame Damage” they are concerned that their car is not repairable. This is not true; it is repairable but either the shop that you are working with is not skilled enough or the insurance companies do not have the funds to repair the vehicle. We are extremely proud to say that we can fix any car and if the frame is not fixable then we can replace it at a factory assembly location.

We try our hardest to use absolutely no body filler whatsoever, body filler may be fast and easy but it is not correct, there is no panel on a vehicle that has fillers in it from the factory and there’s a reason for that, it’s not nearly as flexible as metal or plastic, and It's not as strong. Most of our repairs are either mild skim coat body fillers to smooth open any small imperfections in the metal work or they are no filler at all repairs.

When it comes to paint products, we use nothing but the highest quality products from PPG Brand, a lot of production shops use DeBeers brand, while it's cheaper, it’s just that, the finish does not turn out as nice and the ultimate problem is that it does not last all that long. It begins to peel all within 5 years. The PPG brand lasts 10 years plus and turns out looking like a show quality finish!

There is a common practice in the automotive collision repair industry called “burning in” a blended paint job. This is when a painter shoots on a clear coat about halfway across a panel and then shoots chemicals on it to break it down and “blend” the line into the old paint. While this saves time and extremely expensive materials, it also causes the paint to lose its UV protection, hence why you see paint peeling in some spots on a car and not others even on cars that are not too old. So, we do not do this practice unless it is somewhere that the paint does not see sunlight, such as under the hood or inside the door. This typically makes our work more expensive than other shops as well but there is nothing more important to us than the quality of the final product.
